What is an EEG?

• Electroencephalography (EEG) is an electrophysiological monitoring method to record electrical activity of the brain.

How to prepare for an EEG?

• There are no special preparations needed for EEG.
• To help the sensors stick to your scalp more easily, you should make sure your hair is clean and dry before arriving for your appointment, and avoid using products such as hair gel and wax.
• Do not nap before the test.
